The Credo Theory of Music training programmes are a comprehensive series of books, aiming to present the Music Theory learning content in a simplified and fun way. Learners from all ages have used it since 1985. The Credo Theory of Music training programmes are available from Pregrade 1 up to Grade 5 in English as well as Afrikaans.

Examination Standards
Required examination standards for Music Theory are built into the training programmes. The syllabi of
- The University of South Africa (Unisa),
- Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and
- Trinity College of Music London
are covered in the Credo training programmes Grade 1 to Grade 5. The Unisa syllabus also caters for the younger learners by means of a Pregrade 1 examination. Credo also has a training programme for Unisa Pregrade 1.
